MSP to ATL to RDU

Hi everyone! My family and I boarded the first plane around 9:00.

The flights were pretty painless. Traveling is awesome!

WE'RE HERE!!!

The Raleigh airport was amazing. It didn't feel like most airports that I have been in. The airport was more open and had a little more color.

After picking up our bags, we were ready to see North Carolina and see everyone on this stop in the tour!

FIRST DAY; Greensboro

After waking up at 6:30 (it felt like 5:30) and getting ready, we were prepared for Greensboro. After making no wrong turns, we made it to the smaller office. There are only around 60 people who work in the office.
Picture
We were immediately welcomed by Donna, who is amazing. She took us on a tour of the office, and was amazing. As we were talking to Mark about the history of Greensboro, I looked in my peripheral vision, and the room was full of people. About 30 people showed up, when we were expecting less. We introduced ourselves, and my mom told us all about her interesting journey.

There were lots of questions, and we were eager to answer them. I don't remember a time before this that I had a better time talking in front of a large group of people than this day. If you can see in the previous photo, there is a couple windows. The Windows cover the whole wall, and the view is amazing!

After the office event, we went back to our hotel room for lunch. After lunch, we all went to the Marble Museum.
Picture
The Marbles Kids Museum is a nonprofit children's museum located in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina in the Moore Square Historic District. Its mission is to "..spark imagination, discovery and learning through play."
Picture
Even though the museum was catered more towards kindergarteners, we all had fun.

After enjoying the museum for a while, we went to go see Finding Dory. I'm not going to spoil anything, but it was amazing.

DAY 2; Raleigh

Because the Raleigh event was at three, we had some extra time at the pool!

After relaxing at the pool and the hotel, we went to the Raleigh office!

Samantha, after chickening out on the first event, read the book to the people at this event.

After the book event, we drove over to Wilmington for the rest of our trip.

After the long drive, we wandered over to the South Beach Grill for dinner.

After the dinner, we walked a couple blocks to the beach. It was about 9:00 pm and the beach was amazing.

THIRD DAY; Wilmington

On our last day, we went to the Wilmington office.

It was a lunch event, so they brought in Panera.

After enjoying North Carolina, it was time to go home.

Raleigh-Atlanta-Minneapolis

Our first flight left around 6:00, and our last flight landed at around 1:00.
Picture
As a family, we have never flown while it was dark out. I was astounded at all of the lights that I could see.

After landing at 1am central time, I was too tired to take anymore pictures. We arrived home at around 1;30. All I can remember after I fell asleep was thinking 'I'm so tired'.

THANK YOU!!!!!! :)

Special thanks on this trip to Donna, Ed, Allison, Mark, Mary, Jackie, Keith, Rob, Cassa, Sam and all of the RSM employees that we were able to meet!
Thank you all for reading! Next stop- California!
